The color is a bright cherry pink. In addition to the scent of acerola, cherry, cranberry, and strawberry jam, there are also fragrant flavors such as rosehip, mulch, and fig. The mouthfeel is off-dry, with pleasant light acidity and well-melted gentle tannins that spread slowly along with the umami.

Compatibility with food

Watercress salad, spinach with sesame sauce, palm trout and oyster vegetable potage, whitebait canapés, wakasagi escabeche, Dutch-simmered eggplant, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, stir-fried chicken and peppers with cashew nuts, feta, mozzarella cheese, loquat compote, wasanbon cookie

2020-2022 Continues to have a fresh fruity taste.
2023-2025 Aging increases the sense of unity and brings out the flavor and aroma of dried fruits. We recommend chilling it in the refrigerator or ice water to around 10°C before drinking.

Recently, rosé is very popular for drinking at home. “2019 Kokoroze” is also a fresh, complex, fruity and charming rosé wine. The 2015 and 2016 vintages have been installed in JAL international business class.

vineyard and winery

The mountain vineyards, which were cleared by boys in the 1950s, have never been sprayed with herbicides since they were cleared. Founded in 1980, Coco Farm Winery at the foot of the mountain started making wine in 1984. Since 2007, we have been making wine from 100% Japanese grapes, and now all of our homemade wines at Coco Farm Winery are "Japanese wines." We do not use any chemical fertilizers or herbicides in our own fields, and we mainly use natural wild yeast and wild lactic acid bacteria for fermentation in our brewery. It is important to listen carefully to the voice of the grapes, "I want to be like this wine," and make the most of its characteristics.
