Loire France
Grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Les Baronnes are made from sauvignon blanc grown in calcareous clay soil called Terre Blanche. A wine with an exotic and round aroma of tropical fruits and a refreshing citrus aroma. A gentle taste that is different from flint silex.
A winery managed by the historic Henri Bourgeois family, which has been in business for 10 generations. Based in Chavignol, the village of Sancerre in the Loire region of France, the steep slope section called "Hill of Mont Danet (Hell's Hill)" spreading in front of the domaine is said to compete for 1 or 2 even in Sancerre. and produce excellent wines. We are familiar with the complex soils of Sancerre, such as Kimmeridian soil and Silex soil, and pay respect to the land and traditional winemaking from mosaic-like plots, and carefully make wines.
